One of the first things visitors to a Primitive Baptist Church notice is that we do not employ musical instruments in our public worship services. Rather, we sing a Capella congregational hymns, using only our voices lifted up in song. Why do we worship in this way? Join us as we begin looking at the use of musical instruments in the public worship of the church, beginning today by establishing the biblical fact that God cares about our public worship. As we move on through this series, we will learn the history of musical instruments in church worship, and see how the Old Testament and New Testament deal with them as they pertain to public worship services.
