In the first half of this sermon, we began establishing the biblical fact that God cares how we conduct our public worship services. Today, we wrap up this discussion, and move into the history of musical instruments in the public worship of the church. We start with the era immediately following the Apostolic Church Age, and examine the history of the use of instrumental music in the church all the way up until the present time. As we will see, Primitive Baptists may differ greatly from the rest of religious world today, but in truth we are in the majority position for most of church history!
