The Book of Hebrews, Part 66: Two Mountains I (Heb. 12:18-29)

In the passage before us today, the writer paints a vivid contrast between public worship under the Law and public worship in the church by comparing two mountains: Sinai and Sion. Sinai represents the Law, Sion represents grace. This is the “grand summation” of all the arguments in the book of Hebrews regarding the supplanting of Old Testament Law worship and New Testament grace worship. Join us today as we begin to contrast the two mountains of Law and grace.
