As we continue looking at Elihu’s response to Job, we see his answer to Job’s allegation that God is somehow unjust. Job has basically said that there is no profit to serving God, because God does not reward those who serve him in the proper way. Elihu rightly rejects this allegation, and reminds Job again that he believes suffering is good for us. As we have already seen, some of Elihu’s philosophy is correct; however, even he misses the mark like Job and his other friends!
