While David was indeed a “man after God’s own heart,” he nonetheless was a sinner. Today, we begin to look at his defection from Israel into a land controlled by the Philistines. Join us over the next few sermons as we see that, rather than trusting God’s guidance, David began to look at his circumstances and reason within his own heart – which is NEVER a good idea for a child of God!
