Yesterday we began looking at the “breastplate of righteousness”, which is the second piece of spiritual armor given to us in the daily spiritual battles of life. We asked the question, “Is your heart right with God?” This question – while applied in an eternal sense by most of the religious world – is actually dealing with our own practical, personal holiness. In our daily walk, are we engaging in “righteous living?” If so, we are clothing ourselves with the “breastplate of righteousness,” and are properly clad with the piece of armor that protects the vital organs of our spiritual body.
