One of the primary arguments raised by the atheist is the problem of evil in the world. The basic argument reads this way: if God is omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omni-benevolent (all-good), then why does evil exist? God must NOT exist, since evil clearly exists. While this is a philosophical argument that cannot be fully dealt with in a one-hour sermon, Pastor Chris McCool sets forth the biblical relationship between God and evil, and helps us see that the existence of evil and the existence of God are not incompatible from this perspective.
