How was Christ a “better” sacrifice? As we continue exploring this concept, we are beginning to see that Jesus not only came into the world to do the will of God the Father, but that He actually “finished” the work! This means that every elect child of God has been perfected before God, because his sins have been put away eternally. But this also means that there has been a fundamental change in the order of public worship under the age of Grace: in a very real sense, the public worship has been “perfected.” The old ceremonial worship is over, and the new liberty of worship under the age of grace has begun!
