As we continue looking at the topic of “burdens,” we go to the account of Jesus in the home of Martha and Mary in Luke chapter 10. Here we see Martha “cumbered about much serving,” while Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and listened raptly to His words. Which one of these two sisters enjoyed the greater blessings? Mary, of course, who put aside her burdens and soaked up the presence of Jesus. Join us today as we learn some important lessons about laying our daily burdens at the feet of Jesus.
