As we continue looking at the book of Hebrews, we come to chapter five, which begins the “heart” of the letter. From about this chapter through chapter ten, we deal with the theme of Jesus Christ as our “Great High Priest.” Today, we begin to see how Jesus Christ is indeed our High Priest, and so much better than the earthly high priests provided for under the Law!
