In today’s message, Elder Buddy Abernathy moves on into chapter four of Revelation, where we begin to see a vision of Heaven itself. We have been looking at the letters from Christ to His churches, but now we begin to see heavenly views of things that are waiting to us. Remember, that this letter from John is a revelation of Jesus Christ, not an “obscuring” of Jesus Christ! It was given to the 1st century church to encourage and uplift them during a time of strong persecution. Thus, everything from here on out in this book is meant to uplift and encourage, and not to scare or frighten! This view of heaven will begin to encourage us if we will understand that it is given as a way to help us “keep on keeping on.”
