In Hebrews Chapter 2, we are told that all things are in subjection under the feet of Jesus. This includes all of the consequences of sin in this world, including death. However, in Heb. 2:8, Paul (whom I believe wrote the book of Hebrews) declares, “But now we see not yet all things put under Him.” In other words, although all things indeed ARE put under Him, we can’t always see that from our perspective. And that’s why we need to see Jesus! In the first half of this sermon, we begin to understand that our perspective is flawed and that we ought to keep our eyes focused upon Him.
