Having looked extensively at the doctrine of election over the past few weeks, we turn now to Article Four of the Articles of Faith of Zion Primitive Baptist Church: We believe in the doctrine of original sin and impotency of man’s recovery in and of himself from the fallen state which he is in by nature. In the first half of this message, we see the exceeding sinfulness of sin in God’s sight, and we begin to explore the reason we need a Savior to completely save us, rather than leaving any portion of salvation in our hands!
