In Joshua, we read about a little harlot in Jericho named Rahab. When the spies came into the city, she aided them, and in return they told her to bind a scarlet line in the window of her house, so that they could save her alive when they sacked the city. As we will see from the sermon today, this scarlet line is symbolic of the safety that we have in Christ.
