Yesterday we posted the first half of a sermon by Elder John Morgan Owens on the topic of justification. He began teaching us from Scripture that there are three different justifications taught in the Bible. Justification by grace is accomplished in the courtroom of Heaven by the sacrifice of Christ alone. Justification by faith occurs in the courtroom of our hearts and minds when we trust what Christ has done for us. And justification by works happens in the courtroom of mens’ opinions when we live out our faith in a righteous way in this time world.
