This sermon is the second half of the first message preached about the divine preservation of the word of God. Last time, we saw that the Bible itself affirms the fact that God would preserve the very words of Scripture. When we left off, we were just beginning to look at historical evidence supporting the Bible’s statements. And while we don’t need extra-biblical evidence in order to believe the Scripture, it is nonetheless encouraging and exciting to see that history itself supports the divine preservation of the word of God!
