For God So Loved the “WORLD”, Part 1 (John 3:16)

As we have seen in this series on “Rightly Dividing John 3:16,” the words matter! We’ve looked at the word “for,” which points us to Jesus’ declaration regarding the brass serpent in the wilderness. We’ve also looked at the word “loved,” which taught us that God didn’t just “love at” the world, He loved the world in an efficacious way! Today, we begin looking at the word “world”, which is so misunderstood by the religious world. Most people believe that “world” always means “every person who ever has or ever will live.” But is that an accurate understanding? Join us today as we begin to see the problems with this interpretation of the word “world.”
