As we began to see yesterday, Romans 5 sets forth the goal of “justification by faith,” which is peace with God in this life. But how does it work? The next three verses teach us how. In these verses, perhaps more than any other in Scripture, Paul gives us an “instruction manual” on how to implement a faith-walk that ends in being justified by faith. In facing the trials of life, if we will implement these instructions, we will find ourselves glorifying God in tribulations rather than embarrassing ourselves by having a “sky is falling” mentality. Join us as we look at this important instruction manual for our discipleship.
