How to Face the Famine, Part 1 (Gen. 26)

How should we face the famines that arise in our lives? There are many accounts in Scripture concerning famines, and how people reacted them. In Genesis 26, we read about a famine that Isaac faced in the land of Canaan. God specifically told him, “Go not down into Egypt,” like his father Abraham did. Isaac obeyed God, and as a result experienced great blessings. What an example of how to face the famines in our own lives!
