In the last sermon, we saw in Abraham a faith that obeys without questioning, which is the kind of faith we all ought to possess. But is that really where we always start out? Is it not more common that we question God initially, even though we may ultimately do what He says? Thankfully, we have the example of Sarah, who obeyed God only AFTER questioning. And while it is certainly more preferable and profitable for us to obey God without questioning, I am so thankful that – even when we question – God doesn’t “throw us away”! Instead, He shows us mercy and allows us to repent and still serve Him. Join us today as we see Sarah’s faith, which obeyed God even though she initially questioned Him.
