As we began to see in the first half of this message, there is a cycle throughout history of the rise and fall of evil. Revelation 17:8 prophesies this, and Chapter 11 illustrates it as well. The devil rises from time to time from the bottomless pit to torment God’s people, but then the Lord intervenes and puts him down. One day, God will put him down permantley!
