As we continue in the ninth chapter of Revelation, we see that when the first trumpet was blown by the angel there appeared a star which unleashed demonic forces from the bottomless pit. In the first half of this sermon, Elder Buddy Abernathy was beginning to teach us that God has allowed some wicked demonic spirits to be released on this world primarily in order to torment the wicked upon the earth. But we will see that these forces can afflict God’s people as well! Ultimately, God’s people will be vindicated because God will banish the wicked from His presence in the final judgment; in meantime, He protects His children with His providential care.
