In the last podcast post, we had begun looking at the aftermath of David’s anointing as king. Rather than storm the castle, David humbly accepted God’s timing and was obedient in the meantime. And then he was called to come to the palace itself and play the harp for Saul! One of the characteristics of being a “man after God’s own heart” is that David was willing to serve God while he waited on God’s providence. Join us as we continue to learn important lessons from the life of David.
