In today’s message, we read the account of Samuel going to Jesse’s house to anoint a new king of Israel. The reason for the new anointing is that God has rejected King Saul because of his disobedience, and has determined to have a new king of Israel from the sons of Jesse. We will see the contrast between the choice of Saul and the anointing of David, and between the lives of these two men. Join us as we learn more about what it means to be a “man after God’s own heart.”
