Today’s message is the second half of a sermon about “gospel rest.” There is no doubt from Scripture that Christ paid the debt for every single one of His elect children; however, not all those children find the “rest” that they need so badly! Many try to work their way to heaven; others try to add to the work of Christ. But only by believing in the true gospel – that Jesus paid the entire debt, plus nothing – can a child of God truly find rest in this world.
