As we saw in yesterday’s post, our Savior is high and exalted. But as we continue on this thought, we see that He not only was and is the Holy One of heaven, He is also empathetic and humble in His dealings with His people. What a Savior! He surpasses the gods of the pagans by such a large margin, because while their gods (who really are NOT gods!) may be high and lifted up, they could not sympathize or empathize with men. Jesus actually BECAME a Man, and can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.
