When the enemies of the Kingdom of God successfully moved the King of Persia to stop the Jews who had returned from the Babylonian Captivity from rebuilding the Temple, those Jews who had been laboring in the Kingdom ceased the work for fifteen years. Why so long? They became complacent, and began to focus on their own personal pursuits, and let the house of God lie waste. Haggai and Zechariah were sent to stir them up to restart the building of the Temple. This series focuses upon what happens when we become complacent in the work of God, and what can happen when we become reinvigorated for the service of the Lord!
