Jesus was rightly called a “Man of Sorrows;” He often sighed and groaned as He saw the curse of sin on this world and on His people. But there was one time when Jesus rejoiced: Luke’s gospel tells us about this, and about why! Did He rejoice about how smart people were or how good they had gotten? NO! He rejoiced in the sovereignty of God, and the love God has for His people!
