The Womb, the Water, and the Wind (John 3:1-8)

Jesus often used natural examples to illustrate spiritual truths. In the first eight verses of John chapter three, He described the new birth to Nicodemus by using three different natural terms that Nicodemus would have understood: the womb, the water, and the wind. Each natural phenomenon is a rich illustration to help us understand that the new birth is solely and wholly of God!
