The evening service on June 6, 2021, marks 10 years since Zion Primitive Baptist Church began experiencing the revival that has brought us to the place we are today. Ten years ago, Sis. Lorene Deason, who was the only member left in the church at the time, began having special services at 5 p.m. on the first and third Sunday nights, beginning the first Sunday night in June, 2011. What an amazing journey we have experienced by the grace of God! Today, we have grown to over 50 members, and are privileged to worship in a new building, with the old building turned into our fellowship hall. Elder Tim McCool, pastor of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Echola, Alabama, was used mightily of God to help facilitate this revival.
