Have you ever reacted in anger, and almost done something you would have regretted for the rest of your life? This was the case when David encountered Nabal, a man whose name literally means “fool.” When his men were rebuffed by Nabal in their search for sustenance, David purposed to exact revenge upon the man and all his household. But a brave, godly young woman named Abigail intervened, and David learned an important lesson about leaving vengeance in the hands of the Lord.
